The viewing angle refers to the angle from which the user can clearly observe all the content on the screen from different directions. The viewing angle can also be understood as the maximum or minimum angle at which the screen can be seen clearly. And the viewing angle is a reference value, and the viewing angle of the led display includes two indicators, horizontal and vertical.
The horizontal viewing angle means that the vertical normal of the led display screen is used as a reference, and the displayed image can still be seen normally at a certain angle to the left or right of the vertical normal. This angle range is the horizontal viewing angle of the led display.
Similarly, if the horizontal normal is used as a reference, then the upper and lower viewing angles are called vertical viewing angles. Generally speaking, the viewing angle is based on the contrast change as a reference standard. When the viewing angle becomes larger, the contrast of the displayed image seen will decrease. When the angle becomes larger to a certain extent and the contrast ratio drops to 10:1, this angle is the maximum viewing angle of the led screen.
LED display can be seen by the audience the greater the range, so the larger the viewing angle the better. But the size of the viewing angle is mainly determined by the tube core packaging method, so it must be carefully considered when packaging the tube core.
The led display viewing angle has a lot to do with the watching angle and watching distance. But at present, most led display manufacturers are unified. If the viewing angle is customized, the cost will be very high. It should be noted that for the same chip, the larger the viewing angle, the lower the brightness of the led display.
